What an adventure this is.

I was so blessed to be a leader of this three week Ireland trip. Upon arrival in Ireland I was so excited to see how God was going to move during the month. Our contacts sat us down and shared with us what the month would look like. Although a schedule may look good, in missions it never turns out the way it starts. This use to bother me so much but I have learned to see God’s hand in all of it. It always works out just the way it needs to for God to really speak into the team and for the Lord to do big things with in the community. Sometimes that can be a hard thing to remember. But it is all in the timing and the working of the Lord and not ours.

During our time in Ireland I would say one of my favorite moments was working at Ray Presbyterian church. We got to hang out with the youth all week, playing games, doing crafts, and learning about Jesus. I was so proud of the team members who shared their stories with the youth. It was very touching to see how they all paid such close attention to the person speaking. Sunday evening I got to preach at their night service and a bunch of the youth that hung out with us all week came, some of them it was their first time in the church. This was such an amazing moment for me. I was so blessed to get to share my story with the youth and some of the church congregation. It was such an encouraging time for me, reminding me why I have chosen to serve the Lord. I was able to build such close relationships with the people at the church and will never forget their kindness and Joy.
