It has officially been one week since our team arrived in New Ross and we have seen the Lord work in amazing ways; in our own personal lives and in the lives of the youth in New Ross.  Early on in the week one of the project leaders, Don, challenged our team to listen in prayer for God's voice and we accepted the challenge.  We opened the drop in center at the YMCA on Wednesday and during the entire time it is open, prayer is occurring.  Every has received the opportunity to pray at a certain time and I have to say that those prayer times have been absolutely incredible!  When we take the time to listen for God's voice instead of constantly making our requests, we actually can hear what He is speaking to us.  One thing that many of us have prayed throughout the week is that darkness be replaced with light in New Ross and many team members have seen pictures during their prayer times regarding light in this city.  An important fact to know about Ireland is that it rains almost all the time, and the skies are very overcast.  God never ceases to amaze me-I woke up this morning to a beautiful day full of sunshine, the fourth day in a row of sunshine.  We are so excited for the plans God has for New Ross and can't wait for this upcoming week of ministry!  God bless!

With love,

Elisha McKeever
